One of the most dangerous things about adware is that it may not always just collect statistics. It may also collect your passords and user IDs then sell them to third parties. They invade your privacy. Sometimes what the adware follows isn't talked about in the user agreement. Adware can also change how your computer runs. It can make it slower and make the system unstable.
